My favorite show on TV was Arrested Development until Fox cancelled the very funny, very well-written show last year. So, I was happy to learn that Jason Bateman, star of the very-funny show will be in what could be a funny (perhaps not very) film about superheroes titled Tonight, He Comes (2008) opposite Will Smith and rumor has it, Charlize Theron as Bateman’s wife. Bateman will also co-star in The Kingdom, also directed by Peter Berg, opposite Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and Chris Cooper coming out April 2007. Bateman’s currently co-starring with Jeremy Piven (from HBO’s Entourage), Ben Affleck and Peter Berg in Smokin’ Aces directed by Joe Carnahan. Read more here.
