Death at a Funeral was drop dead funny!

Death at a Funeral is a smartly written, and funny British comedy with damned good acting. Though the director, Frank Oz, hasn’t directed anything stunning really (Bowfinger, In & out, The Score), this film’s a gem. It’s Four Weddings and a Funeral meets Cookie’s Fortune…sort of. Though I found the film realy funny, it was a bit lower-brow than the average British comedy. Let’s just say a scene involving human feces was more akin to something you’d find in a Vince Vaughn American comedy. Nonetheless, the Brits being pros as smart humor pulled it off with the usual charm.
