As far as sequels go, there wasn’t anything exceptional about Transformers Dark of the Moon. However, I really enjoyed this 3rd installment of the Transformers film series, save for the gratuitous glamour or sex-pot shots of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s character. I get it, she’s hot but seriously with upclose and too personal shots of her hotness was more a distraction than a bonus. I saw Hunington-Whiteley on Chelsea Lately last week and I am a fan of her ’cause she seems to be a genuine and funny woman. It’s obviously the slimy director, Michael Bay, who drove Megan Fox out of this sequel is responsible for the over indulgence of sexy shots of the actress that made even the audience cringe or even laugh. Seriously, certain shots of her standing looking pretty in a given shot of a sequence that she simply didn’t belong in were just weird, laughable and ridiculous, taking you out of the moment. Really, it was ridiculous and embarrassing directing 101 sh*t.

Regardless, I would recommend this film as a fun summer movie that delivers in action, excitement and also humor. Fortunately, there is some eye candy for us ladies as well with Shia LaBouf, Tyrese Gibson and Josh Duhamel.
