An Inconvenient Truth

Totally worth watching. I learned a lot about Global Warming, though I new much already. Al Gore’s documentary is an eye opener mostly because we’re finally feeling the effects of pollution and lack of government concern for necessary immediate environmental protection. Snow in South Africa, record high temperatures over the past few years, devastating “natural” disasters like the South-East Asia Tsunami and Hurrican Katrina. I think unlike other, or most documentaries Gore wasn’t manipulative or over the top in his message. Just the facts, mam! Unlike say, Michael Moore who uses the same Republican-esque emotionally manipulative tactics to spread his word on the Bush Administration or gun control, Gore’s documentary is not overtly emotional but moving and engaging and gets to the point using history, facts and diagrams. Anyway, it’s a great documentary about a pressing issue. Rent it!
